"To take an oath as a doctor, lawyer, and senator [Utah Senator Mike Kennedy] means a dedication to protecting lives and upholding justice. His record shows a consistent failure to meet these obligations... Senator Kennedy has taken three sacred oaths, yet his actions are inconsistent with protecting patients and serving constituents. It's a violation of the very principles he swore to uphold.”

"Unfortunately, Senator Kennedy has attended meetings that I've sat on, along with other physicians within the Utah Medical Association (UMA) where behind closed doors he has openly admitted to promoting bills under pressure from his party. He stated that the party compels him to vote for or sponsor legislation that directly harms patients, women, and families in Utah. As a sitting Utah Senator, this behavior is unacceptable and violates the oaths he took. The majority of physicians like me within the medical community of Utah find this behavior completely unethical and purposefully harmful."

I completed two combat tours in the Vietnam War and earned 15 Air Medals as well as the Distinguished Flying Cross. I spent nearly three and a half years stationed abroad, with assignments in Vietnam, Thailand, and West Germany, gaining invaluable experience in high-stakes environments.
Following my military service, I embarked on a distinguished 30-year career with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. I held roles as a safety engineer and manager, working out of offices in Los Angeles, Boston, Northern New Jersey, and South Florida. In my final role as Vice President of Latin American Loss Control, I led efforts across most of Latin America, as well as in Canada and Europe, before retiring in 2005.
In 2010, I joined American Legion Post 14 in Park City, where I was honored to be drafted into the position of Post Adjutant in 2011. My commitment to community service extends further through my work with Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties. Alongside my wife Shirley, I served on the board for six years, playing a key role in three house builds, a house renovation, and the opening of the ReStore.
I ran for House District 53 in 2010 and House District 54 in 2014 and was elected to the Summit County Council in November 2016, serving on that body from January 2017 to January 2023. My additional duties on the Council have included:
This blend of military service, professional leadership, and community involvement underscores my dedication to both professional excellence and meaningful contributions to society.
