Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to our Constitutional Republic. It is impossible to support him and our oath of office “to protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution of the United States". Any politician who aligns themselves with Trump does not have a seat at the table when it comes to defending our democracy. 

I will defend personal agency and bodily autonomy. Join me in the fight against autocratic restrictions on women’s reproductive health. The stripping away of human rights is a backward move in history. We are not going back.

In Utah, the effects of climate change are apparent every day. Utahn's stuffer poor air quality, wild fire smoke, a dense inversion layer, and drought. I support comprehensive plans to slow and reverse climate change.

43 years of top down economics has created a profound income stratification. A vast majority of wealth sits in the hands of the few as the pay gap skyrockets. Housing has become increasingly unaffordable, and too many children go to bed hungry every night. We need policies that grow the economy from the bottom up, not the top down. Policies that benefit the many, not the few.

Debt and Deficit – Increased government efficiency is vital but will not solve more than 5%-10% of the problem. Three bouts of tax cuts that mostly benefited the wealthy have resulted in out-of-control deficits and ¾ of the accumulated debt. We need policies that reduce the cost and enhance the revenue of Social Security and Medicare while preserving the benefits.

The US is strongest when we have strong allies. Policies that destroy our alliances make us weaker. The world faces increased challenges in eastern Europe, the Mid-East, and Southeast Asia. Our military and alliances must be up to the challenge.

Veterans' benefits are not entitlements. They were earned from selflessness and sacrifice in defense of freedom.

I have a deep understand of the needs of veterans and will always be an advocate. I support a more comprehensive plan from the VA and FDA to better treat TBI/PTSD.
